While you're waiting, I'll tell you a little bit about myself and what you'll find in this blog.
The Who of It
Jennifer
For starters, my name's Jennifer (that's me, in the photo). I'm 25, was born and raised in southwest Virginia, and currently live in southeast Michigan with my husband, Brad (we'll get to him in a sec). I have crazy hair, like chocolate and french fries, and talk a lot.
Brad
That's Brad. We got hitched in 2011, right before we moved up here. It was a little bit of a whirlwind (getting married/relocating/finishing school/switching workplaces), but we both made it out alive. He's my partner in crime and you'll see me reference him in just about every post I write . . . mostly because he's always with me and is often the only person around who won't be creeped out by my constant photo-taking.
{Other People}
My little sister, Carolyn, lives in a different part of Virginia and is artistic and really smart. She also walks around with paint on her clothes and regularly listens to NPR and YouTube recordings of the Constitution. She will be thrilled that I included her in this introduction.
The What & Where
My posts usually revolve around the places I visit and things I do as I explore Michigan, with the occasional story about a trip back home or something cool I've seen in the media (I'm an advertising junkie) thrown in. I'm also a very avid social networker, so feel free to follow me in between posting days via whichever account(s) you deem worthy (you can find them here).
Why(ish) and My Declaration of Love for You All
And lastly: I love readers, I love comments, and I love you all for visiting my blog! Now, I humbly request that you go forth and read my writings. Because it's what keeps that little pep in my step. And, I think you may just enjoy yourselves. :)
