Developed while Alison’s husband was on a nine-month deployment in Kuwait, Wood by Al grew out of a time and place where many people might have focused on discouragement rather than inspiration. Citing a desire to create and a need to keep busy, Alison taught herself how to use a scroll saw and wood burner—and voila, a new craft was born!
